5th Post
I left you off at telling you about how Erin really likes writing blogs. Erin writes a blog about her eighth grade life. Erin continues to like school and enjoys her friends. Erin was hanging out with Jilly at her house. Much to Erin's surprise Jilly had invited her boyfriend "Bus Boy" (nickname) over with his friend Blake. Erin fell in love with Blake and the relationship began. They would hang out together, go on double dates with Jilly and Bus Boy, ride bikes, and get pizza together. Erin was really happy about having her first boyfriend and he was even in 9th grade. Erin continued to play basketball with Mark, but it wasn't the same anymore. Erin was over Mark. It seemed every time Erin was around Mark, all he would talk about was Blake. Mark had a girlfriend but he didn't talk about her as much as Erin did. I think this sometimes made Mark feel bad, because Erin and Mark use to be tight, but now their friendship as sort of disappeared. Erin and Reede's friendship is growing, Erin had her over to work on the school blog one day. When she arrived Erin noticed something about Reede she hadn't notice before, she stunk like smoke! Erin just let that go and they worked on updating the school blog. Until Reede asked if she could go outside for a smoke, Erin immediately reacted and said well my parents would kill me if I had a friend that smoked. Reede even offered Erin a cigarette, Erin denied it. Erin was completely grossed out about this and was very surprise. She had always figured Reede was a little different, she wore a lot of black makeup and dressed sort of goth, but she never realized she smoked. When Erin told Jilly on Monday morning, Jilly flipped out and told Erin to never go near her again. This isn't really what Erin was looking for, she wanted Jilly to comfort her and tell her maybe she will stop smoking. But what Jilly said to completely stop hanging around her. Erin and Jilly still were friends but Jilly was a little worried about Erin. She didn't want Erin to make the wrong decision. First because Erin's over protected parents would kill her and Erin could get hurt. Jilly shared her feelings with Erin and then their friendship was back on track.

nice job describing what is happening. You seemed really into the book and addicted to what was happening.
